July 2020 Broadcast

As cases in Florida continue to rise, we encourage you to continue following COVID-19 safety guidelines, including wearing a mask and social distancing. Our Patient Advisory goes into detail on the precautions you can take during this time to help keep you and your family safe. We also have a comprehensive guide on masks that we recommend you review with your loved ones.

We want to reassure you that we are taking necessary precautions to keep our offices safe for you to get the care you need. Our offices are cleaned comprehensively on a daily basis, and high touch points are cleaned between every visit. Masks are mandatory for all staff and patients. We’ve also introduced additional processes to help maximize patient safety.

Please note that our check-in process at the office has changed. Patients will now be asked to wait in their cars until their exam rooms are ready. The Car Waiting Room check-in process works as follows.

We also offer TeleHealth Appointments that allow you to get the care you need from the comfort of your own home. You can easily schedule your TeleHealth virtual visit online or through the Healow App. TeleHealth Appointments can be made for a variety of healthcare concerns, including (but not limited to):

  • Sick Visits (Headaches, Migraines, Cold Symptoms, Abdominal Pain, Urinary Tract Infections)
  • Consultation Visits (Back and Shoulder Pain, Muscle Injury, Joint Pain)
  • Asthma, Cough, Bronchitis, COPD, and Pneumonia Concerns
  • Annual Wellness Visits
  • Hospital Follow Up Visits
  • Chronic Conditions Follow Up

Thank you for entrusting Southwest Orlando Family Medicine with keeping you and your family healthy and safe. We are here to safely care for you and your medical needs. Please do not ignore your health.
