Patients can communicate directly with our office through Patient Portal. Available anytime and from anywhere, Patient Portal facilitates better communication between patients and clinicians and allows you to:

  • Keep track of your upcoming appointments
  • Fill out your pre-appointment questionnaire
  • Send secure messages to your clinician
  • Review your current medications and request prescription refills
  • View your personal health record including a summary of recent office visits
  • View, download and print documents
  • Review referral information
  • Check and request lab results
  • Access Patient Education with resources recommended by your Clinician

Healow

Patient Portal is fully integrated with the Healow app, allowing patients to securely access their account from a smart phone or tablet. Healow provides a suite of tools focused on making communication between providers and patients secure, easy, and convenient. Southwest Orlando Family Medicine, P.L. has been faithfully serving the healthcare needs of our community’s children, adolescents, adults, and elderly since 1987. Please take a few minutes to read the information below on insurance, becoming a new patient, and what’s needed for your initial appointment.

Insurance Coverage

We accept most major insurances. If you have an HMO insurance, we must first be listed as your Primary Care Provider (PCP) before we can schedule your appointment. For more detailed information on the different financial and billing policies, visit our Billing Information page.

Becoming a New Patient

You can become a patient by pre-registering with our office using the Book An Appointment feature. Once you have pre-registered and sent an appointment request, one of our Patient Care Representatives will be in touch to confirm and collect all necessary details. Be sure to activate your Patient Portal and complete your Medical History Questionnaire before your appointment.

Fill out your new patient medical history information under the Questionnaire section of the Patient Portal before your appointment.
