Patrick P. Gonzales, MD
Dr. Gonzales completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the United States Naval Regional Medical Center, Subic Bay, R.P., and a three-year Family Practice residency at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ. He held the distinction of being chosen chief resident in both programs. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice.
Dr. Gonzales has actively served as a family practitioner in the southwest part of Orlando since 1987; and through the years, he has enjoyed the trust, loyalty and friendship of his patients.

 

Maria V. DeLeon, MD
Dr. DeLeon is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. She was born in the northern part of the Philippines. She graduated from the University of Santo Thomas College of Medicine and Surgery. Dr. DeLeon practiced medicine in the Philippines for a couple of years before moving to the United States. She completed her three year Family Practice Residency at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. She had six years of experience in Family Practice and Emergency Room Medicine in Pigeon, Michigan before she joined Southwest Orlando Family Medicine. Outside office hours, she enjoys the company of her husband and two lovely and energetic kids.

Tania Morales, M.D.
Dr. Tania Morales is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Medical School. She recently completed a three year Family Medicine residency at the Florida Hospital School of Medicine. She has been on medical mission trips to Mexico and is a part of research groups affiliated with Florida Hospital. Dr. Morales is fluent in written and spoken Spanish.

Joanna E. Taepke, PA-C, MS
Joanna is from suburban Chicago, IL. She attended the University of Illinois as Urbana-Champaign and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics. She then attended Finch University of Health Sciences/ The Chicago Medical School where she received a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduation, Joanna moved to Orlando and worked with a dermatology group before joining Southwest Orlando Family Medicine.

Tania Berrios , PA-C
Tania Berrios, PA-C joins us from Buffalo, NY. She attended the State University of New York at Potsdam and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology, with her minor in Chemistry. She then attended Daemen College where she received her Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is currently in the US Army Reserve, ranked as a Medical Service Officer. Tania is fluent in written and spoken Spanish and has been in the military for the past 9 years.
